Welcome to DeHaan Labradors

DeHaan Labs is a small family owned kennel currently located in the South Metro area of the Twin Cities, MN.  We have been hunting, training, and raising quality Labrador Retrievers for over 25 years. We have placed puppies all over the country sinceour start; from Massachusetts to California and North Dakota to Texas.

We are all about God and family.  Specifically, we trust and believe in Jesus Christ!  Through His life and death on the cross He has saved us into life eternal.  All we do in our work, play, and even raising puppies has its foundation in our faith and is rooted in the Bible.

   We got our start raising puppies in the Northwest Corner of Iowa so we fast became fans of the pointing labrador hunting upland for wild roosters.  In 2015 we moved to Minnesota to be closer to our grown daughters and their families.  The move to Minnesota also coincided with us training and running our dogs in AKC, APLA, and HRC hunt tests.

   We typically only have one litter per year as we usually only have 1 or 2 dogs at a time.  Our dogs live with us in the house and “do life” with us daily.  They go with us virtually everywhere we go.
